How to get from here to happily ever after - in 6 easy steps

1. giving you a custom quote

To answer the proverbial “how much”, I’ll need a few details from you. Whether you know the exact solution you’re after or just hate the problem, let me know the basic idea or query.

I’ll ask you to answer 10 questions about your project and its objectives (it takes less than 10 minutes). Your answers allow me to give you a detailed quote within 1 day.

2. it's all about you - proposing a great solution

In addition to the cost, you’ll want to know what you’re getting for your money and what results you can expect. Two burning questions, right? Done & done.

Your custom quote includes lots of information to help you choose your best solution: lots of options, recommendation and all project details.

3. like what you see?

If you like the proposal and want to begin, a 50% deposit is required. This is standard practice and ensures we’re both secure and committed.

Invoices are sent by email and can be paid securely online in seconds with PayPal, Visa or MasterCard - quick and painless.

4. the starting line

As soon as the deposit is paid, we’re ready to begin. Yeehaa! For new clients, I have a 10-question survey that takes about 30 minutes. It helps me to get inside your brand and know your exact likes, dislikes and absolute hates. Your answers can be supplemented with any additional information: old website copy, previous press releases, past brochures, funny stories, etc.

5. ready, set, go

As soon as I’ve got all the juicy details, I can begin work. If I’m writing new copy for you (rather than editing pre-existing material), the process goes as follows:

• I write the 1st draft.
• You review it and confirm that you love the tone, approach, etc.
• Based on your feedback, I write the 2nd draft.
• You review it. If necessary, any minor edits can be made.
• I write the final draft (if required).

Turn around time between drafts will depend on the size of the project, number of pages, etc, yet a few days per draft serves as a rough estimate.

If added changes require more than 2 drafts and a final copy, an hourly rate will apply. This is rarely the case. The detail-gathering described in step 4 means we’re well-set for early success.

6. all finished

After you receive your final copy, the remaining balance of 50% is due within 7 days. (Again, enjoy a quick & easy online payment process taking less than 1 minute).
